Crafting For Work

I work at a craft store and was asked to create these interactive display scarves (customers are encouraged to knit or crochet) and a bunch of stitch markers!  I love when I get to knit or crochet for work!

This pattern doesn't really require stitch markers but I'm happy to oblige.  Besides they were fun to make!
The pattern required for the display was just garter stitch for the knit scarf and single crochet for the other.

I really like this yarn by the way, it's Red Heart With Love and it's pretty soft!

See ya later!

Shop Update: Pogs!

This is what I had planned for those pogs I hunted for!  Pog pins!!!  They can also be worn as hair clips!

Fighting the urge to keep them all for myself!  (I already snatched up a bunch if them!)

Show your Pog pride with a Pog pin! ❤

W.I.P. Wednesday: Crochet Cat Hat

Today's work in progress is this sparkly, black, cat hat!  I think I might add a little pink to the ears yet.

What are you working on?

Ren Faire

I went to Ren Faire with Alicia and Melissa this weekend!  It was my second year going and I loved it!  But surprisingly I didn't take that many pictures, I must have been too excited!  But here are some of the ones I did manage to take.

The dragon puppet store, the imaginarium has so many cool puppets!

Love these candles!

Ye old news paper lining my snack!

Sword drink!

I bought this cool necklace there!  It comes with a little marble jewel inside!

I also got this soap I'm in love with!  It smells so good!  It's so hard for me to find honey almond
anything anywhere.  They also have a website The Enchanted Forest.

And this is what I wore to the Faire!  Unicorn sweater, socks and button I created out if an
old POG!  Remember pogs?

Next year we're dressing up!  I can't wait!
And I'll definitely remember to take more pics!

Basement Treasure Hunting Part 2

An idea struck me for using up my old POG collection so I went digging in my basement again and found a few more treasures!  And of course my pogs!

First of all, I found my little mermaid game!!!  I knew I still had it!  Also a Game Boy and Bart vs. The Space Mutants!

I used to LOVE this awesome doll paper punch!  Under one shoe it punches hearts and under the other it punches stars.  This shall now have a permanent spot on my desk.

Another Polly pocket to add to the collection.  The bed turns into a ring on this one!

Even though the paint on the metal body of the Batmobile is chipped pretty bad, I still love it.  Oh memories!

Now I've got some pog crafting to do!

See ya later!
