Ribbon Cowl and Stylecraft Batik Yarn

Pattern: Ribbon Cowl by Frankie Brown
Yarn: Stylecraft Batik

When I saw this cowl I knew I had to make it in the exact same colorway, I just thought it was so gorgeous!  I'm so happy with how it came out, I just love it!

This is also my first time using Stylecraft Batik yarn.  Very pretty, and really soft, I will definitely be buying them again!
BTW, I purchased them from love knitting and they have the cutest packaging, and the shipping was quick!

Triangle Scarf and Landscape Yarn

Pattern: Totally Triangular Scarf by Michelle Krause
Yarn: Lion Brand, Landscape in Coral Reef

I really enjoyed making this scarf, the pattern was easy to follow.  The scarf itself took two skeins but I did buy a third to add tassels.

This is also my first time working with Lion Brand Landscape and I LOVE it!  Its very soft, has a beautiful sheen to it and comes in a bunch of beautiful color ways.

Today's work in progress is this sparkly, black, cat hat!  I think I might add a little pink to the ears yet.

What are you working on?

Ren Faire

I went to Ren Faire with Alicia and Melissa this weekend!  It was my second year going and I loved it!  But surprisingly I didn't take that many pictures, I must have been too excited!  But here are some of the ones I did manage to take.

The dragon puppet store, the imaginarium has so many cool puppets!

Love these candles!

Ye old news paper lining my snack!

Sword drink!

I bought this cool necklace there!  It comes with a little marble jewel inside!

I also got this soap I'm in love with!  It smells so good!  It's so hard for me to find honey almond
anything anywhere.  They also have a website The Enchanted Forest.

And this is what I wore to the Faire!  Unicorn sweater, socks and button I created out if an
old POG!  Remember pogs?

Next year we're dressing up!  I can't wait!
And I'll definitely remember to take more pics!
