This is my third pair of gloves, they came out much better. The second pair came out just as nice except one was a little shorter than the other, oops! But thats ok, I'll just keep those for myself, these pink ones are a gift for someone else. :)
I also knit some bags out of plastic bags, a coin purse wristlet with a zipper and a button toggle clutch purse.
And a coin purse wristlet with a zipper out of one whole garbage bag. I love it! :)
Check this out, my pumpkin garland was featured on Craftster! Featured Knitting Projects - December 2010 So Happy!!! :)
See ya later!

I made my very first glove the other day. It came out better than I thought it would, but not as good as I had hoped. The thumb looks a little sloppy, there are a couple of little holes. The top is a little too tight and the bottom is a little too loose. Trial and error.
I also made some cute little snails! I found the pattern at NaturalSuburbia.blogspot.com
But instead of adding a leaf to the bottom to make them stand I'm going to turn some into cute pins :)
They have some of the cutest patterns on that blog. There are also patterns for Autumn acorns and leaves, perfect for the Fall season, which I'm going to have to make a bunch of those as well :)
That's all for now,
see ya later!

Four U.S. size 5 dpns. White, orange, and yellow yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver for all three).
Candy Corn (cone piece)
CO 39 sts onto three dpns (13 sts per needle) in yellow.
Row 1: knit
Row 2: knit 11, knit 2 tog, knit 11, knit 2 tog, knit 11, knit 2 tog (basically you will knit all sts, knitting the last two together on each needle).
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 though Rows 3 to 24.
On Row 9 switch to orange (this is a knit only row)
On Row 17 switch to white (this is a knit only row)
When you get to the last row you will have three sts left, one on each needle. Thread a tapestry needle with your yarn and gather the last three sts onto the needle, pull the yarn through tight and tie it off.
The bottom part
CO 10 sts in yellow. Knit in stockinette stitch for 15 Rows.
(Stockinette stitch: Row 1 Knit, Row 2 Purl)
Assembling the pieces
Turn the "cone" part inside out (so garter stitch is showing) and sew the bottom part you just knit to the opening of the cone leaving a small hole. (When you sew it make sure the bottom piece has the stockinette stitching on the inside, so when you turn it inside out again the right side will be facing out)
Through the small opening you left turn the candy corn inside out (so stockinette is showing on the cone and bottom) and stuff the cotton into the hole, then sew the hole shut.
This is the first knitting pattern I've ever posted, I tried to make it as clear as possible, if you have any questions please let me know. :)

I'm so glad its finally Autumn, my favorite season! And with Autumn comes Halloween, my favorite holiday to knit decorations for. I am currently working on making garlands of pumpkins.
These are some of the pumpkins I have so far. I used The Curly Purly Pumpkin pattern. It worked out great and I made a couple different sizes too! The candy corn is just something I whipped up, I'm working on tidying it up a bit, the white part got cut off a little too soon. When I get it just right I'll post a pattern :)
I also tried Candy Corn Illusion Cloth, but mine didn't come out so well. I don't know why. I want to try it one more time and if it comes out better, I'll post. I'm sure its not the pattern and its something that I did wrong, I never tried illusion knitting before.
I also made this bracelet for myself in beautiful Autumn colors. I love it, I've been wearing it lots! :)
Well, that's all for now
see ya later!

I have some new pouches up at Nuckinfutsknitter and more to come! I love this one, the colors remind me of Spring.
Also I got some new cactus plants for my window. I can't wait to get more, maybe some flowers next time :)
Also, the pumpkin plants at my moms house are growing! I hope to see some pumpkins :)

Before Coffee can get a hair cut he had to have his shots. When he got them we found out he is a shih tzu, terrier mix :)
My dads machine! He has had it since I was little. He and Magy (my step mother) were the ones that taught me how to sew. :) My dad uses those giant, murder sissors to cut fabric, they're heavy as hell!
Magy's machine :) I'm not sure why there is tape on it, I think its cracked, but it still runs great! This is what I learned on before I got my own machines.
See ya later!

We got a new dog! Our neighbor gave him to us. He's almost a year old. They called him Brownie but we're calling him Coffee since he doesnt respond to Brownie anyway. He needs a hair cut! He's such a sweetie pie :) I was told he was kept in a small cage for most of the time and he was so messy when we got him. Hes so hyper, like hes hopped up on coffee, lol. I dont think he ever had so much room to play and run around in. He loves to follow us around. I gave him doggie toys, but his favorite toy is a glove, haha!
