W.I.P. Wednesday: Crochet Cat Hat

Today's work in progress is this sparkly, black, cat hat!  I think I might add a little pink to the ears yet.

Been craftin'!

Just a little photo dump of what I've recently made and what I'm currently working on!  I've been busy! :)

Soft and fuzzy skinny scarves!

Voodoo Brew coffee cozy!

This was going to be a shawl but it turned out too small sooo it's a scarf! :)

I'm really crazy about this open weave crochet stitch right now!

Making a rainbow scarf with rainbow star beads! :)

What are you working on right now? :)

Finished Purple & Green Tote

I just wanted to show the finished results of the bag I was working on!  I really like how it turned out.  I added a braided strap.

I'm not sure if I'm going to line it or not, but I really love how green and purple look together.

W.I.P. Wednesday

Today's w.i.p. is the wavy afghan I've been working on for at least the last six months.  And this is how far I've gotten... yeah.
I have no idea why it's taking me so long the finish this darn thing!  I keep coming back to it every now and then to do one row or half a row.
Will I ever complete this thing?

Do you have any long term works in progress?

See ya!

W.I.P. Wednesday: Packers Set

I am working on a hat and button scarlet for my buddy Tiffany.  She's a big Green Bay Packers fan and it's her birthday!  I'm using Red Heart Team Spirit yarn for this project.

W.I.P. Wednesday: Cowl

I've been way to sick to blog for more than a week but thankfully I'm feeling a little better today!

So today's w.i.p. isn't so much a work in progress as it is finished, I just finished it last night.  But since it's the only thing I've been working on that I can show, I'm showing it.  (There's something else I've been constantly working on but I can't post it yet, it's for someone that reads my blog and I don't wanna ruin the surprise!)

I crocheted this cowl with Lion Brand homespun.

So what are you working on right now?  And how was everyone's Christmas?  Did you give or get anything handmade?  Did you get something you're really excited about?  Let me know!

W.I.P. Wednesday

I enjoy giving out pins to the ladies at work and for Christmas I'm going to hand out some gingerbread men pins.  Almost there, they just need to be cleaned up of all their little tail pieces and decorated!  I used the pattern from Miss Twinkie Chan's wonderful book, except I did not use the recommended yarn because I wanted to make them smaller.

This was the first one I did, my "tester."  I used yarn scraps which is why it's funny colors, but I discovered I really like these colors together.  I'm gonna have to make something else utilizing these colors together!

What are you working on right now?

Blaine's Hats

I made these hats for my nephew Blaine.  He is going to be one year old on Thursday!  I crocheted them and they whipped up really fast.  I love how they all turned out especially the acorn one but he looked the cutest in the frog one.  The eyes really stuck out when he had it on, I couldn't help laughing, Blaine is the cutest!!!  I wish I had had my camera with me, I never think ahead.
He let me try them all on him without removing them.  He is so adorable!
See ya!

My first crocheted hat!

This is my first crocheted hat!  I wanted something "holey" but didn't have a pattern so I just winged it.

I used Lion Brand Homespun yarn and a size K hook.  I  LBH yarn.  Have I mentioned this before?  I think I have. :)

Very "holey" also nice and slouchy!

Most of the hat is in double crochet except for the rim which is just a few rows of single crochet.

See ya!
