African Violet & Hyacinths

I got a new plant on monday, it's an African violet!  I had to get rid of the dieing cactus, it was finished.  I found a helpful website for taking care of it, theplantexpert.com.

The hyacinths are starting to grow back!  I love them and I can't wait for them to bloom, they smell sooo good!

There are a few of them.  I know for sure some are purple but I think I also had some pink, they were from last spring.

See ya!

  5. African violet is so beautiful! I love how you can multiply them by simply planting one of the leaves in soil.

  6. This makes me want to get african violets again. My Gramma had lots of them and I went thru a spat where I had several. I must've killed them off...my memory is fuzzy on the details..it was probably a slow and awful death tho'! I hope they don't have my pic up at the flower store w/ a big red slash over it.....
